Viral Marketing for Fuddy Duddies
Marketing
Have you noticed how we often overlook the obvious?
Don’t you hate those brainteasers where the answer is staring you in the face and you don’t see it? I do.
The marketing of so many companies simply overlooks the obvious.
They spend thousands of dollars attempting to entice strangers to be customers whilst all the time overlooking something so important and so basic that a whole pile of books have already been written about it.
Can you guess what it is?
It is by far the cheapest way of getting new customers...
It’s been referred to by various names and is based on a simple but very important principle...
“The customer you want is like the customer you've got”
Now think of member-get-a-member or friend-get-a-friend or if you want to know its fancy new name... it’s called viral marketing.
You’ve already experienced it because no doubt you’ve had a friend recommend a pleasant experience to you and you in turn have passed that information onto others and they in turn have told others... and that information spreads like a virus.
Now imagine if your customers were doing that for your business.
Viral Marketing is big and it's going to get bigger... so it's a subject that I intend to write about a lot more.
If you have any questions about Viral Marketing I'd love to hear them...
Keep your powder dry,
