There has always been Viral Marketing.
Great marketing has always gone viral but its spread has typically been localised.
Then WHAM... along comes the internet and Viral Marketing becomes the new marketing buzz word simply because of the speed with which it can spread and because the world is now its audience.
I have mentioned before that you cannot bore your market into buying from you but millions of dollars are still spent every day trying to do just that.
Imagine all of that junk mail going endlessly into the garbage bin... hopefully, the recycling bin.
Viral Marketing doesn’t bore you.
Viral Marketing is Entertaining and your audience wants to be entertained!
Now before you say... We can’t do that, we’re solicitors or we’re accountants or our product is mundane... just remember that’s how your competitors think. They are all boring their audience to death... and therein lays the opportunity for you.
