Back to my roots
Copywriting
In all modesty I excelled at “English” at school because I loved it.
Writing gives you the opportunity for so much expression and potential engagement with people because... let’s face it... we are all enthralled by a good story.
Now, and go figure, I went into a financial world environment notwithstanding that the career assessment people pre-university days said I would be a great journalist or a great lawyer.
And can you believe it... I am a Boston Legal fan... so, I have of late been wondering why I didn’t become a lawyer. I mean how cool is it to say... Crane, Denny Crane.
Anyway, back to writing...
Since posting in our 360 News that we are available for copywriting assignments there have been some interesting enquiries hit my desk.
The most fun one for me so far was brainstormed by the team just last weekend... it’s to write some copy on Great Dane dogs
I am in heaven... not only do I enjoy writing but over the last 20 years I have had seven beautiful Great Danes in my life including Tess who was an Australian Champion.
The truth is all of them have been Australian Champions in my heart including the current team of Monty and Marley though Monty is my first singing Great Dane.
He must be in love with Marley because he starts singing to her at first light... I must stop them going to bed so early.
I’ll keep you posted on the Great Dane copy and it’s great to be part of the copywriting process...
hmmm... Crane, Denny Crane???
keep your powder dry,
